Does this label printer require ink?

No, this device is powered by ZINK Zero-Ink printing technology. Special colour crystals in the paper are activated by heat to create full colour labels without the need for ink cartridges.

Do the labels come with the device or do you need buy them separately?

This printer comes with 1 x CZ-1004 x 5 m label roll and a CK-1000 50 mm cleaning roll as well as a USB cable, AC adaptor and power cord.

Can I use the USB cable to charge the printer?

The USB cable is used to set up and transfer images to the printer to print, the printer will need to be plugged into a power socket with the AC adaptor.

Are the labels self adhesive?

Yes, the labels are self adhesive - they peel off like a sticker after it has been printed.

Can I create washi tapes with this printer?

Yes, our CZ-1001 and CZ-1002 rolls are perfect for creating your own washi tapes on the Design 'n' Craft.

Print in 9, 12, 19, 25 and 50mm on continuous length Zink rolls, for full colour prints at the length you need, up to 420mm long.
